Some of our traditions
- The Chimney Log fire. In 2010, we changed our Troop neckerchief to include it.
- Besides the standard Scout uniform, we use a dark burgundy / black neckerchief.
- We attend summer camp at Tomahawk Scout Reservation, White Pine Camp.
- Our calendar includes a variety of monthly activities: Service, Campouts, Activities.
- Our calendar has an outing every month of the year.
- We hold an Electronics campout every year.
- We regularly have High Adventure trips.
- Our sponsor housed the Christian Cupboard Food Shelf through 2018. For Scouting for Food, we sort and shelf all food that is collected.
- We participate in various other service projects, including doing a service hour on every campout.
- We send Scouts to National Youth Leadership Training, every year.
- We conduct a troop Junior Leader Training (JLT) retreat.
- Scouts in our troop will be given the opportunity to lead, in all leadership positions.
- Our first year Scouts follow the "First Class in the First Year" program. They are led by a large group of Troop Guides.
